木聚糖是一种可再生资源,与葡萄糖、乳糖、果糖、甘油等微生物发酵中常用碳源相比,具有价格低廉和制取方法简便的优势。本研究利用合成生物学的方法,将直接利用木聚糖的途径以质粒的形式导入到大肠杆菌体内,成功构建了工程菌株BL21-xyn-xyl。此菌株可以将木聚糖降解为木糖,用于自身代谢生长,其后期生长状况明显优于原始菌株BL21(DE3)。

Xylan,a renewable resource,has a lower cost and is prepared with simpler method as glucose,lactose,fructose,glycerin and other usual carbon resources in the microbial fermentation.The research reported on the pathway using xylan directly and was transformed into Escherichia coli and the engineered strain BL21-xyn-xyl was succeeded in constructing.The strain could degrade xylan into xylose which was used to metabolic growth and its late growth was superior to the control strain BL21 (DE3).
