研究并制作了单通道速率为2.5Gbps的12通道并行高速光发射组件。光发射组件采用自行研制的850nm垂直腔面发射激光器(Vertical-Cavity Surface Emitting Laser,VCSEL)作为光源,光学接口采用了MTP OR (MPO)1×12的带状光纤连接标准。差分信号采用SMA-KHD9插座连接。经测试光发射组件在2.5Gbps速率下传输时误码率低于1×10-13,眼图清晰。

In this paper,the study of a 12-channel parallel optical transmitter module design and test for high data rate transmission were introduced. The 850nm vertical cavity surface emitting lasers (VCSEL) developed by our laboratory were adopted as the light transmission source. The form of standard MTP OR (MPO) 1×12 Fiber ribbon was taken in the optical interface. Differential signal connection was performed with SMA-KHD9 socket. The back-to-back eye dia-gram test and Bit-error-rate (BER) measurements show that module is capable of reliably transmitting data at over 2.5Gpbs for near range distances.
