随着机械加工技术飞速发展，高精度数控机床的出现，它越来越多地取代了钳工的部分工作，致使很多高校、老师和学生都忽视了钳工这个工种的必要性，继而使钳工教学停滞不前，教学质量越来越差，因此必须开创一种新的教学模式，以提高对钳工的认识和教学质量。
