李顺保教授对《奇经八脉考》中所载腧穴与《黄帝内经》《针灸甲乙经》及国家标准进行对比研究，探究奇经八脉腧穴的发展脉络，就《奇经八脉考》中的腧穴进行释疑。《黄帝内经》中的奇经八脉的腧穴仅有腧穴总数或有少数腧穴穴名，《奇经八脉考》终将奇经八脉腧穴补齐，但与今日国标亦存在差异。

Professor Li Shunbao explored the development of acupoints of eight extra channels by comparing the acupoints recorded in QiJingBaMai Kao with HuangDi NeiJing, ZhenJiu JiaYiJing and National Standard, he cleared up the doubts about acupoints of eight extra channels. There were total numbers of acupoints and a few names of the acupoints distributed on eight extra channels in HuangDi NeiJing, but there were complete acupoints of eight extra channels in QiJingBaMai Kao, the difference was still existed compared with national standard nowadays.
