三峡库区作为一个特定的经济地理区域，关系我国生态安全和经济社会发展全局，做好三峡库区城镇迁移、迁建、复建等工作，规划一个合理有序的城镇空间，对于落实三峡库区国家战略职能具有重要的先导意义。本研究在地理信息技术的辅助下，以三峡库区重庆段为研究对象，对长寿区进行了实证分析，系统研究了三峡库区特定的地理条件对城镇规划的限制性和适合性，指出了三峡库区各城镇的空间拓展方向和城镇空间发展引导对策，得出研究结果。

As a special economic geographic region ,Three Gorges Reservoir Area is related to national ecological security and overall economic and social development .In order to carry out national strategic function , Three Gorges Reservoir Area should be done well in migration , relocation , reconstruction , and especially a reasonable and orderly urban spatial plan .The paper took Three Gorges Reser-voir Area of Chongqing as the research object , made Changshou district as an empirical analysis , studied systematically relationship between specific geographical condition and urban spatial plan , pointed out the extension direction and countermeasures of urban spa-tial development based on GIS technology , and drew conclusions .
