Guizhou Faer Coal Mine was taken as the research obj ect to study the main influ-encing factors of boreholes through coal seam on gas drainage in the adj acent coal seam by the aid of the numerical simulation and practice observation.The optimum drainage parameters were de-termined to enhance the efficiency of gas drainage and the unnecessary fund waste was reduced.
