In accordance with the plucking mechanism of cotton stalk harvester , the paper analyzes the motion of the hobbing cutter , and designs a kind of dislocated hobbing cutter through the principle of rotary tillage . The hobbing cutter could cut the cotton stalk off its root and pull it out; it can also complete the stalks harvest of different height , different regions and uneven thickness .
