According to dominant diseases of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), special expertise and the characteristic therapy, ancient literature database of TCM lung diseases key discipline had been established. Through the literature analysis of TCM lung diseases recorded in ancient books, and the combination with database and network communication technology, a database system platform which contained bibliography management, inquiries and browse, communication and research was established. This established database will raise the accessibility of information resources; promote the level of clinical performance, scientific research capacity and instructional development of the TCM lung diseases key discipline.
