    This paper deals briefly with the introduction of the landscape design career of Wang Xiangrong, a well-known landscape architect in China,analyzes his design ideas from his representative work-the“Four Boxes Garden”,and makes a preliminary discussion on his theory and practice of landscape from the following aspects:the social responsibility,the historical inheritance,the artistic expression,the ecologi-cal principle and so on.
