The paper gives an introduction to the design of the power intake structure layout of the Ten-glongqiao -II hydropower project .The intake is placed in the gravity dam body section and connected with the powerhouse through the embedded pipe in the dam .The integration of the dam ,the power tunnel and the powerhouse in the layout reduces the use area of land ,saves investment and facilitates the management of both the dam and the powerhouse in operation .
