语言是族群传统文化的载体，也是族际交流的工具，从而在一定程度上是族群认同和族群边界的象征，因此，语言是分析族群关系的重要视角。西方社会心理学家发现双语教育、母语教育对于族群认同和创设最佳群际接触环境，进而促进族群关系方面发挥着重要作用。实际上，我国的双语教育政策法规对各民族平等使用母语的权力和双语教学都有明晰的表述，但在双语教育的具体实施过程中，依然存在着不利于族群接触的做法。因此，我们应该在立足我国具体国情的基础上认真研究和借鉴西方学者对双语教育与族群接触之间关系的研究成果，促进其本土性转化，进而对我国双语教育实践中的具体问题开展科学研究，解决双语教育“怎么做”的问题。

Language is the carrier of the traditional culture of ethnic groups and the tool for ethnic communication,whichtoacertainextentisasymbolofethnicidentityandethnicboundaries .Therefore, language and bilingual education is an important perspective of ethnic relations . Western social psychologists have found that native language and bilingual education play an important role in establishing ethnic identity and creating the best intergroup contact environment , as well as promoting the ethnic relations . In fact , in the bilingual education policy of our country , there is a clear expression on the power of native language and bilingual education . However , in the implementation process of bilingual education , there are still some problems , which are not beneficial for ethnic contact . Therefore , we should carefully study and draw the lessons from the experience of western scholars , and carry out scientific research on specific problems of bilingual education in China .
