    This paper summarizes the research and manufacture process of heavy forgings for the rotational locking screw arbor.By means of reasonable proportioning chemical composition in melting , normalizing +quenching & tem-pering heat treatment , as well as the water quenching & oil cooling , each performance index of the rotational locking screw arbor meets technical requirements .
