This paper summarizes the teaching approaches of biomedical engineering in China medical university, and introduces the content of curriculum reform of biomedical engineering in the aspects of training objectives and training requirements, curriculum system, content of courses, teaching methods, practical teaching, construction of teaching team and training mechanism. The effect of curriculum reform is also discussed in this paper. This paper points out that the curriculum reform aimed for“excellent engineers”can improve the comprehensive quality and employment quality of students.
