介绍了顾志良教授及其团队十多年来在农业动物生长及发育方面开展的研究工作，主要围绕家禽肌肉发育和脂类代谢相关功能基因的研究、畜禽miRNA的克隆及功能研究、动物生长激素（GH）调节功能的机理研究以及农业动物遗传多样性和分子进化的研究这四个方面展开综述。

This paper describes the research work of Professor Gu Zhiliang and his team have conducted for these ten years about animal growth and development in agricultural areas, focusing mainly on cloning and study-ing functions of muscle development and lipid metabolism-related gene and miRNAS, researching the mecha-nism of growth hormone (GH) in regulating animal growth, and studying animal genetic diversity and molecular evolution. All these four aspects are reviewed in the paper.
