旴江喉科流派的传衍以家传为主，师授和私淑亦不少，计有医家96人、医门31门，传衍最久远医门有15代。龚廷贤、聂杏元、张尘生等因受教于世医名门，成一代大家；危亦林、陈会、刘瑾等因师承名家，亦成一代名医；而范淑清、黄明生、包钧台等却私淑先贤，苦读经典，终成大器。传承模式多样，名医辈出，传衍不息。
우강후과류파적전연이가전위주，사수화사숙역불소，계유의가96인、의문31문，전연최구원의문유15대。공정현、섭행원、장진생등인수교우세의명문，성일대대가；위역림、진회、류근등인사승명가，역성일대명의；이범숙청、황명생、포균태등각사숙선현，고독경전，종성대기。전승모식다양，명의배출，전연불식。
Although family is taken as the principal thingin regard to inheritance about physicians of Xujiang 's throat genre , private instruction or learning without masters'direct guidance also plays an important role .Because of being educated in the medical families ,Ge Hong, Xi Hong, Chen Ziming, Gong Tingxian, XieXinghuan became a generation of distinguished physicians .With the famousphysicians'instruction, Wei Yilin, Chen Hui, Liu Jin were famous too.Without masters'direct guidance, Fan Shuqing, Li Yan, gongJuzhon, Yu Jiayan, Huang Gongxiu, Huang Mingsheng went to great length to study classics and eventually succeeded .In spite of differentmodes ofinheritance,outstanding physicians are produced in each generation in Xujiang .
