Graphene oxide-based fluorescent sensing technology is developing rapidly, which has been used to detect nucleic acids, proteins, and small bio-molecules. This method has many outstanding advantages such as low consumption, simple and quick. Also, it could provide accurate, real-time and multiplexed analysis results. Therefore, it shows wide application and development prospects in molecular diagnostics. In this paper, we summarized the principle of fluorescent biosensors based on graphene oxide as well as their research progress and the future perspectives in the filed of molecular diagnostics.
