The main difference and general requirements of repeaterless and regenerative optical fibre subma-rine cable system design are introduced briefly in this paper,the basic framework,main configuration and relat-ed instructions of the end to end regenerative optical fibre submarine cable communication system are intro-duced,the need to consider relevant content and calculation method of the optical path and power feeding de-sign of the regenerative system are put forward.
