家长“教育焦虑症”是对子女教育的过度焦虑，其症状表征为贯穿整个教育的对“教育落后”的恐慌、在教育过程中对“教育重负”的压力、在教育结果方面对“教育无能”的担忧。它导致的后果是对子女不合理的教育期望和不正当的教育行为。中国家长“教育焦虑症”的根源在于教育在争夺有限的社会稀缺资源竞争中的不公平性。缓解之道在于帮助家长正视自己的教育动机、在教室内创造公平和学校和社会进行补偿。

Parents' education-anxiety is the excessive worry about their children's education. Parents' education-anxiety has such symptoms as the panic of “education backwardness” during the whole education process, the stress of the “educational burden” in the educational process and the worry of “education incompetence” in terms of educational outcomes. It leads to the consequences of the unreasonable expectations and improper behaviors in their children's education. Chinese parents' education anxiety is rooted in the unfairness of education and in the competition for scarce resources. The solution lies in helping parents to face their own educational motivation, in the creation of equality in the classroom, as well as increasing budget for the school.
