将PBO纤维和几种常见阻燃纤维的性能进行对比研究,分析纤维的回潮率、体积比电阻、极限氧指数、热分解温度以及染色等性能。 PBO纤维的极限氧指数为68%,热分解温度高达650℃;体积比电阻较大,可用作高温绝缘材料,但纺纱极为困难;PBO纤维的耐化学性好,但染色困难。同时开发出了PBO编织软管和缝纫线,缝纫线强力是同规格芳纶1414的5倍。

PBO fiber and several common flame retardant fibers were compared .Moisture regain , volume specific resistance , limited oxygen index , thermal decomposition temperature and dyeing properties of PBO fiber and other flame retardant fibers were discussed .The results show that limited oxygen index of PBO fiber is 68%and thermal decomposition temperature is up to 650℃;the volume specific resistance of PBO fiber is greater and suitable for insulating materials , but it is difficult to spin .PBO fiber has good organic solvent resistance but dyeing difficult .Braided hose and sewing thread of PBO fiber were also developed and breaking strength of PBO sewing thread was five times as big as that of armid sewing thread .
