煤炭产业的有效竞争状况关系到煤炭产业乃至整个国民经济的健康、可持续发展。本文以结构-行为-绩效范式为基础，建立了相应的有效竞争评价指标体系，并运用主成分分析法对2000～2009年我国煤炭产业的有效竞争状况进行了实证分析。研究表明，近年来我国煤炭产业竞争的有效性在不断增强，竞争活力是影响我国煤炭产业有效竞争状况的最主要因素。要提高我国煤炭产业竞争的有效性，应该大力推动行业整合，继续优化产业内企业规模，并提高产业内生产能力利用率。

The effective competition situation of China's coal industry matters much on its healthy and sustainable development and even on China's national economy .Based on the structure-conduct-performance paradigm ,this paper sets up an evaluation index system to evaluate the effective competition situation of China's coal industry from 2000 to 2009 by using the Principal Component Analysis method .The analysis shows that the effective competition of China's coal industry has been improving continually and competitive dynamics is the most important factor to determine the effective competition situation .In order to improve effective competition , China need to push integration , optimize enterprise scale and enhance capacity utilization rate of coal industry .
