以湖南省邵阳市为例，介绍了现代烟草农业对GIS技术的需求，进而引出GIS技术在邵阳市现代烟草农业中的应用和发挥的主要作用，针对邵阳市的烟叶生产的实际需求，分析“3S”技术在邵阳市现代烟草产业发展中的应用前景。
以湖南省邵暘市為例，介紹瞭現代煙草農業對GIS技術的需求，進而引齣GIS技術在邵暘市現代煙草農業中的應用和髮揮的主要作用，針對邵暘市的煙葉生產的實際需求，分析“3S”技術在邵暘市現代煙草產業髮展中的應用前景。

Firstly, the demand of modern tobacco industry to GIS technology was introduced. Then, the application and the role of GIS technology in modern tobacco industry in Shaoyang city were also introduced. In the end, according to the actual needs of tobacco production in Shaoyang city, the applying prospects of "3S" technology in development of modern tobacco industry in Shaoyang city were analyzed.
