This paper reviews the pathogeny, etiology and pathogenesis of Chinese Medicine and differentiation of symptoms and signs for syndrome classification of diabetic gastroparesis, and analyzes the research progress of acupuncture treating diabetic gastroparesis, which is fast effective, with low recurrence rate, little side effects, and easily accepted by patients.
