牙胶作为是根管充填的标准充填材料在临床上应用已有一个多世纪,但牙胶无黏结性,无法与根管内结构黏结并形成完全的根尖封闭,导致细菌渗漏,是根管治疗失败的主要原因之一。Resilon/Epiphany Self-Etch是一种新的充填材料,研究表明它与根管壁之间发生化学性黏结,形成一体化结构,可降低微渗漏和增强牙根的抗折性。本文就Resilon/Epiphany Self-Etch的组成、理化特性、临床特性及存在的问题等方面做一综述。

It has been more than a century since Gutta-percha first applied as the standard root canal filling material in clinical, but as the gutta-percha has no cohesiveness, so it could not be bond with the internal root canal to form completely sealing which leads to bacterial leakage, and this is commonly acknowledged as the main reasons for the failure of root canal therapy. Resilon/Epiphany Self-Etch is a new filling material, researches have shown that between the new filling material and the root canal wall there is a chemical bond thus form a structure name monoblock, which could reduce the micro-leakage and enhance the resistant force of root canal. In this paper, we reviewed about the Resilon/Epiphany Self-Etch's composition, physical and chemical characteristics, clinical characteristics and problems and so on .
