Shenyang Metro Line One is a major infrastructure construction projects in Shenyang city, hence, it is necessary to conduct ground settlement observation. This article describes the observation point layout principle, monitoring frequency and monitoring meth-ods. The monitoring results are analyzed. The settlement monitoring results show that the excavation of foundation pit near the subway station, and precipitation bear little influence on the surrounding buildings and ground settlement, and it will not exceed the standard limit.
