认知语言学中的认知范畴观在二语词汇习得过程中起着重要作用,其对中职英语词汇学习有重要的理论指导作用。中职教师应利用这一理论来改善中职英语词汇教学,根据该理论教师应注重基本词汇教学、加强词汇的范畴归类和重视词汇原型意义的讲解。

Cognitive categorization plays an important part in second language vocabulary acquisition process, and it has an important theoretical guidance in their vocational English vocabulary learning. Vocational teachers should use this theory to improve vocational English vocabulary teaching. According to this theory teachers should focus on teaching basic vocabu-lary, strengthening the classification of lexical category and explaining the significance of the prototype.
