The starting point of the introduction of the basic concepts in calculus is its geometric background, brings in the definition of limit starting from the geometric meaning, the present article argues that using of intuitive specific, vivid geometric situation leads to the new interpretation of limit and the new statement in the definition of limit, reduces its abstract degree, help students understand and master limit.
