The connection in series resonance opposition method used to measure high-voltage mutual inductor dielectric loss is an available approach to solve many onsite problems. The different properties between reactance and capacitive reactance were used, so that the connection in series resonance opposition method could reduce the capacity of testing power supply. Experiments verified the feasibility of this method. According to the situation of measured equipment, the onsite connection in series resonance opposition method needed reasonable selection of apparatus and the number of reactors to meet the requirements of testing circuits.
