A new battery energy storage system based on ARM&DSP is presented, which can adapt to different capaci-ty requirements and realize two flow of energy between power grid and battery. This system adopts modular control strategy, with LPC2109 as the battery charge and discharge controller and TMS320F28335 as the three-phase three-level rectifier controller. Moreover, the intelligent charge and discharge control algorithm and the technology of three-level SVPWM control are introduced. The hardware structure and software module are discussed in detail, with QT as the development kit to realize real time monitoring.
