Slow release technology was that in a particular system took certain measures to slow the release rate of a particular substance.Thus, in a certain period, the concentration of the substance can maintain to improve the utilization efficiency.The mechanism of low-release and evaluation methods was summarized , and the widely applications of slow -release technology in many aspects were described , such as pharmay , agriculture , chemical industry and other areas.According to the analysis , the future development trend was prospected.
