The primary task of regional colleges of engineering is to develop innovative engineering practice talents that servicing in the local economic construction, while the level of practical ability of college students depends largely on teachers' practical ability. This article firstly analyzes the current situation and reasons of teachers' engineering practice ability in regional colleges of engineering, finally proposes the strategy to improve teachers' engineering practice ability.
