程在探讨宇宙之根据的过程中以“理”作为人的存在的坚实依靠,从而突破了释老理论的缺陷。他们认为“性即理”、“心即理”,不仅使性、心获得了本体的意义,更使它们成为了理的实质性内涵。这也体现出了他们对于天人关系(以及体用关系)的贞定。

Cheng Hao and Cheng Yi explore the universe in the process according to the"truth"as people rely on the existence of a solid, thereby breaking the old release defect theory. They think that"nature is reason,""Heart is Reason", not only of the heart to get the sense of the body, making them more substantial connotation reasonable. It also reflects the relationship between them is determined to Heaven (and body with a relationship).
