The high concentration and low biodegradability organic wastewater is seriously harmful to the en-vironment ,andis generally unable to be treated by the conventional technology or with bad processiing effects and high operation cost .The supercritical water oxidation (SCWO) is an emergingenvironmental protection technologywith good prospectin treating high concentration and low biodegradability organic wastewater ,and hasmany characteristics andsuperiority .This articlediscusses the treatment of different kinds of high concen-tration ,low biodegradability and small flow rate organic wastewater via a pilot -plant -scale experimental set by using supercritical water oxidation ,such as papermaking black liquor ,drugs manufacture wastewater , chemical wastewater and the war -industry wastewater .The biggest treatment flow rate is 12 .5L/d ,the chemical oxygen demand (COD) removing rateexceeds 99% .Therefore ,the effluent water quality can meet the national wastewater -discharging standard .
