Historical Records written by Sima Qian is not only the beginning of Chinese classical biographical literature , but also a masterpiece combining various thoughts , such as Confucianism, Taoism, Strategists thought and the Yin-Yang School.Records of the Historian is deeply influenced by Taoism , especially about its natural view , the social and political point , and philosophy of life . Apart from these , Sima Qian also gets rid of the negative factors that Taoism contains , and promotes the continuous development of the Taoism.
