地质实习是地矿类专业重要的教学实践环节，而地质实习基地建设是实习得以开展的前提。通过考察，对区内的地层、古生物、构造、地貌等进行了综合分析，认为在六盘水可以建成地质认识实习基地，满足地矿类专业地质认识实习、煤矿地质实习的需要。

According to the need of professional practice for the students major in geology and mining, base on the summary of study by former geologists worked in Liupanshui, we Comprehensively analysis the feasi-bility of professional practice on strata, paleontology, structure,landform and so on, and draw the conclusion that it is feasible to construct a geological practicing area near Liupanshui city.
