The pressure loss of high-pressure main steam control valves of 600 MW steam turbine is great since the operation. By modeling of valves for calculation and analysis based on CFD (computer fluid dynamics) method and in combination with field practice , the valves are retrofitted , which effectively solves the problem of the great pressure loss of the valves and achieves significant energy savings and economic benefits.
