The principles and process of memory mapping techniques is introduced. The problems of the efficiency of reading and writing intermediate results file which contains large amounts of data in wireless network planning software is solved through memory mapping techniques. The performance comparison between the traditional file techniques and memory mapping is made. The final results which is produced from intermediate results file is shown. The software is able to meet the needs of large-scale simulation, while ensuring efficient operation.
