The role of straight line in the creation of rhythm in undecorated Zisha polygon teapot is explored by analyzing the characteristics of the straight line and the construction of “the hexagonal teapot with folded corners”. The visual effect of the teapot is appraised according to the aesthetic standards for the combination of hardness and softness, the interaction between void and solid, and the progressive perception of multiple dimensions.
