在康德的存在论题“实存不是实在的谓词”中，康德对实在性和现实性作了独具特色的存在论区分和关联。康德基本上继承了传统形而上学关于实在性和现实性的含义。从词源学上，实在性源于拉丁文“realitas”，与本质关联；现实性来自拉丁文“actualitas”，与实存关联。实在性与现实性的区分就是本质与实存的区分。康德在实在性和现实性之间还提出了与之相关联的客观实在性概念。

In Kant’s ontological proposition that existence is not the predicate of reality,Kant did a unique ontological discrimination and relation of reality and actuality.Kant carried on the traditional metaphysical meaning of reality and actuality. Etymologically, reality, which originated from“realitas,”is related to essence while actuality,derived from “actualitas,”is related to existence. The difference between reality and actuality is that between essence and existence,Kant put forward the concept of objective reality,which associates reality with actuality.
