汉画像石中有与节日、祭祀相关的娱乐性和表演性，从军事训练和游戏中发展而来的竞技性，以保健养生为主要目的的健身性三类体育文化资源。汉画像石中的体育文化开发策略是“画像展示”、“专业表演”、“游客体验”和“产品开发”等；可分为“投壶运动”、“蹴鞠运动”、“射箭运动”、“马术和马球”、“汉代乐舞”和“导引养生”等六大园区设立“汉代体育文化乐园”。钩沉与考量蕴涵于汉画像石中丰富的体育文化资源，不仅有利于对汉画中体育文化资源的整理和保护性开发，而且为发展体育旅游文化产业、实现全民健身运动、构建和谐社会提供文化资源保障。

There are three categories of PE culture resources in Nanyang Han stone engravings, namely, entertainment and performance related with festivals and sacrifice , competition related with military training and games , and fitness.In general, the development strategy of the PE culture resources in Nanyang Han stone engravings should include engravings exhibition , professional performance , tourist experience , and product development .At the same time, Nanyang PE Culture Carnival of the Han Dynasty should be built , including shooting , kicking, arrow, horsing and polo , music and dance of the Han Dynasty , and fitness.Investigating the rich PE culture resources in the Han engravings can not only be helpful for the organization and protective development of the PE culture resources in Han engravings , but also provide culture resources guarantee for the development of Nanyang ’ s tourism and the realization of nationwide body-building campaign .
