封闭开放的牙本质小管口是现代牙本质敏感(DH)治疗的基本指导思想,而大多数传统的治疗方法仅短期内有效,其原因可能缘于咀嚼和磨损等导致牙体表面脱敏剂涂层再次磨耗。以1.5?W、396?J·cm-2的钕:钇-铝石榴石(Nd:YAG)激光治疗,DH的牙本质小管口的封闭率达到90%以上,牙本质表面也不会出现凹坑、裂纹和碳化等破坏。Nd:YAG激光照射引起的局部温度升高,若髓腔温度升高在5?℃以内,牙根表面温度升高在10?℃以内则不会损伤牙髓和牙周组织。Nd:YAG激光治疗DH见效迅速、疗效明显,但影响其治疗的因素主要有患者畏惧、治疗风险、设备局限和成本高昂等。在Nd:YAG激光治疗DH的过程中,要注意患者和施术者眼睛的防护。
