为了解决基于信号强度衰减模型的定位算法误差较大的问题,提出了一种基于RSSI分布的无线Ad Hoc网络终端定位算法( LRPD).通过实际测量发现,接收端信号强度RSSI呈现波动态势,仅依靠信号强度的平均值不能较好地描述接收信号,因此考虑使用信号强度出现的频率来估计目标节点在可能位置出现的概率.LRPD算法根据每一个参考节点接收到的RSSI的分布,确定目标节点在离参考节点不同距离位置处出现的概率,然后综合考虑各参考节点的影响,实现最终位置的确定.在真实环境中,使用Intel无线网卡和Samsung平板电脑实现了LRPD算法定位.实验结果表明:针对边长为12 m的正三角形实验场景,所提算法误差约为1.43 m;与传统的质心定位方法和三边定位法相比,LRPD算法的定位精度更高.

To reduce errors of the localization algorithms based on the path loss model of signals, a terminal localization algorithm based on RSSI ( radio signal strength indicator) distribution in wire-less Ad Hoc networks is proposed, which is named LRPD ( localization algorithm based on RSSI probability distribution) .The actual measurement results show that the RSSI of the received signal fluctuates.And the average of the RSSI alone cannot well represent the signal.Therefore, the fre-quency of each RSSI is used to estimate the probability of the target node’ s location.In the LRPD, the probabilities of the occurrence for the target node in different distances from the reference node are calculated according to the received RSSI distribution of each reference node.Then, localization is conducted considering the influence of all reference nodes comprehensively.The proposed scheme is verified by using Intel wireless network interface and Samsung Tablet in a real environment.The experimental results show that for an equilateral triangle with the side length of 12 m, the localization accuracy of the LRPD is about 1.43 m.Compared with the traditional centroid localization method and the trilateration method, the LRPD outperforms in localization accuracy.
