The paper analyzes the specific performance of unequal pay for equal work and the reasons existing in enterprises,and proposes some countermeasures for realizing the equal pay:from the legislative level,to clear the concepts of equal work and equal pay;to further clarify the subj ects of obligation and responsibility;to promote the the reform of compensation system in enterprises and institutions,and to set scientifically the post compensation system;to abolish the household registration system barriers and establish the unified and coordinated service system for employment and social security;to break away the dualistic pattern of inside and outside sysG tem to promote the reform of personnel and employment systems;to strengthen the power of the labor unions and advocate the rightGprotection awareness.
