近年来，柴胡野生资源匮乏，人工栽培成为商品柴胡的主要来源。对太行山区涉县野生柴胡的生育特性进行了系统调查，将柴胡不同发育时期的幼苗分为种子苗、春生根茎苗和秋生根茎苗，并据此将叶片划分为3组功能叶（营养生长功能叶、营养与生殖生长功能叶、生殖生长功能叶），并描述了柴胡生长发育历程模式图。提出柴胡栽培应于雨季在秋作物行间套播，在不采收种子时选择割薹以提高根系产量等措施。
근년래，시호야생자원궤핍，인공재배성위상품시호적주요래원。대태행산구섭현야생시호적생육특성진행료계통조사，장시호불동발육시기적유묘분위충자묘、춘생근경묘화추생근경묘，병거차장협편화분위3조공능협（영양생장공능협、영양여생식생장공능협、생식생장공능협），병묘술료시호생장발육역정모식도。제출시호재배응우우계재추작물행간투파，재불채수충자시선택할대이제고근계산량등조시。
Recent years the wild resources of Bupleurum chinense is scarcity, artificial cultivation has become the main source of commodity Bupleurum chinense.The growth characteristics of wild Bupleurum chinense in Shexian of Taihang mountain area was systematically investigated , the seedling in different development stages was divided into seed seedling, the seedlings from the roots in the spring, the seedlings from the roots in the autumn, then the blade was divided into 3 groups of functional leaves ( vegetative growth of functional leaves, vegetative and reproductine growth of functional leaves, reproductive growth of functional leaves ) , the growth process model graph of Bupleurum chinense was described.The Bupleurum chinense cultivation should be interplanting in autumn crop interline in the rainy, when not harvest the seeds, selection of cut flower buds to improve the yield.
