To elaborate the model building process of the pitting corrosion rate calculation model of oil-gas long-distance pipelines, using which model to launch an exact analysis of the corrosion residual life towards some in-service fuel delivery pipeline, whose analysis result sticks to the fact, which shows that the application of this very model can conduct the assessment towards the pitting corrosion conditions as well as the relevant residual life of oil-gas long-distance pipelines.
