The poems written by the French poet Arthur Rimbaud exert great influence on the following generations as for their inheritance of impressionism and their creating of new images. His poetic philosophy is that the poet should be a seer. This journal aims to discover the poetic philosophy held by Rimbaud from a cognitive perspective. By analyzing the shared part between embodied philosophy and Rimbaud’ s poetic philosophy, this journal shows the cognitive evidence that makes his works the masterpieces in literature world.
