As a new nano material, mesoporous silica nanoparticles had become research hotspot in many fields. The study progress of new contrast agent which applied mesoporous silica nanoparticles as support, was reviewed, the application of mesoporous silica nanoparticles contrast agent in MRI of tumour and its related diseases, optical imaging and ultrasound imaging was focused on. The development trend was prospect.
