A new hybrid rice combination, Tianyouhuazhan, was developed from the cross of a CMS line Tianfeng A and a restorer line Huazhan by China National Rice Research Institute, Institute of Developmental Biology of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Rice Institute of Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences. It was released by nation in 2008. This paper introduced its planting performance and cultivation techniques planted as post-tobacco rice at Jianyang city in 2011-2012.
