胃食管静脉曲张破裂出血是门静脉高压症最严重的并发症。目前针对胃食管静脉曲张破裂出血尚无有效的药物预防措施。β受体阻滞剂是应用广泛的降低门静脉压力的药物，配合内镜下套扎治疗可在短期内预防胃食管静脉曲张再出血。我们的一项临床试验发现长效奥曲肽对降低门静脉压力和预防再出血具有良好的疗效。本文就门静脉高压症的病理机制、药物预防胃食管静脉曲张破裂出血的现状和最新进展进行讨论。

Variceal bleeding is the most severe complication of portal hypertension.At present, there are no effective preventive measures.Betak-blockers are widely used for lowering portal pres-sure.In combination with endoscopic ligation,it is efficient in preventing variceal rebleeding.Our clinical trial showed that long-acting octreotide was efficacious in lowering portal pressure and pre-venting rebleeding.In this review,the pathogenesis of portal hypertension and latest advances in drug treatment of variceal bleeding were discussed.
