中医学认为肺脏与肠腑在生理上相互配合，在病理上相互影响，且二者与皮毛都有着直接与间接的联系。荨麻疹是一种常见的过敏性皮肤病，肺与大肠相关理与本病的诊治有着密切的相关性，其不仅体现在荨麻疹的发病机制中，还体现在临床中对本病的治疗不离治肺、通腑二则。该理论在皮肤病的防治方面应用很广泛，并对外感热病、内伤杂病的治疗也具有重要的指导意义。

It is believed in TCM that the lung and the large intestine collaborate physiologically with each influence each other pathologi -cally, and both are correlated to the skin and hair directly or indirectly .Urticaria is a common seen allergic dermatitis , and its treatment is closely relevant to the theory of “exterior-interior relations of lung and large intestine”.The link is not only can be seen in the patho-genesis but also can be seen in the clinical treatment .The theory is widely used in the prevention and treatment of dermopathic disease , and more over , it can be instructive to the therapy of exogenous disease and internal miscellaneous disease .
