“莆莱1号”系莆田市农科所从莆田地方莱豆群体中用系统选育法育成的莱豆新品种。该品种中熟，从播种至始收90～110 d ，开花坐荚后40 d左右即可采收，始花节位9～13节；成窜结荚，每窜（花序）4～8荚，每荚3～4粒，以3粒荚居多，荚长10～14 cm ，荚宽2.8～3.0 cm ，单荚鲜重13～20 g ，鲜豆百粒重300～350 g ，剥出率68％左右。种皮紫红间淡黄色花纹，商品性好。适宜在福建省平原丘陵地区栽培，每667m2产鲜豆荚1000～1200 kg。
“보래1호”계보전시농과소종보전지방래두군체중용계통선육법육성적래두신품충。해품충중숙，종파충지시수90～110 d ，개화좌협후40 d좌우즉가채수，시화절위9～13절；성찬결협，매찬（화서）4～8협，매협3～4립，이3립협거다，협장10～14 cm ，협관2.8～3.0 cm ，단협선중13～20 g ，선두백립중300～350 g ，박출솔68％좌우。충피자홍간담황색화문，상품성호。괄의재복건성평원구릉지구재배，매667m2산선두협1000～1200 kg。
The new lima bean variety ,Pulai No.1 ,was bred from Putian lima bean by systematic selection .Pulai No.1 was mid-ripening apple variety .The period from sowing to the first collection time was 90 -110 days .The harvest time was about 40 days after flowering and podding .The first flower in main vine located at knot 9-13. It′s pods were in cluster .Every inflorescence had about 4-8 pods .The pod had 3-4 capsules ,10-14 cm in length , 2.8-3.0 cm in width and 13-20 g in weight .The weight of one hundred fresh bean was about 300 -350 g .The stripping out rate of fresh bean was about 68% .The seed coat was purple red with light yellow pattern .The commodity nature of pod was good .It was suitable to grow in plain of Fujian .The fruit yield was as high as 1 000-1 200 kg per 667 m2 .The output value was more than 10 thousand yuan .
